tempaper’s New Collaboration Combines Parisian Style and New York Style

You love the charm of Paris, but you also want to bring the excitement of NYC into your home. You can now have both. Tempaper is the first industry-leading removable wallpaper brand. The Novogratz has teamed up to launch the Waverly Collection with a Parisian-inspired New York design. It’s now available online.

Robert and Cortney Novogratz, townhouse designers in NYC’s West Village, has created six new patterns in eight different colorways. This collection celebrates old New York style with Parisian flair.

The Novogratz couple tells MyDomaine that the house is a nearly 200-year-old townhouse. The building’s rich history has seen only three owners. Many old wallpapers, patterns, and colors served as inspiration.

Julia Au and Jennifer Matthews founded Tempaper in 2008. It first collaborated in 2018 with The Novogratz, a family-owned business. Their new collection features a daisy print, zebra marble, cranes, wildflowers, and a nod to Waverly House. The color palette includes pastels, dusty roses, deep greens, and black and white. This combination is for both minimalists as well as maximalists.

The Novogratz says it is challenging to choose a favorite line when designing one. We will install the pink ‘Family of Cranes” pattern in Tallulah, our daughter’s first NYC apartment. It’s exciting to see a way used in a project.

Jennifer Matthews from Tempaper finds it challenging to choose a favorite pattern, but she is attracted to the Tallulah Belle pattern’s “mid-century look.”

Matthews states that Matthews loves the “dainty appeal” and European feel of this design. It’s versatile and can be used in many places – great for hallways, powder rooms, or kid’s spaces.
